About the Windsor Castle
The Windsor Castle is a
beautiful Grade 2 listed Georgian pub that still has many original
features. Close to Regent’s Park, Lord's Cricket Ground and Baker Street
Tube Station it is an ideal venue for a quick pint after a walk in the
park, or a private venue for a special occasion or just somewhere to
relax after work.
The Pub forms part
of the Crown Estate and has therefore been owned by the Royal family
since the 1840’s. It was designed and built when Nash redeveloped
Regent's Park.
The Pub has a
wonderful cosy feel to it, with real fires in the winter yet bright and
airy in the summer.
The bar can get busy
in the evening but you can escape to the fantastic Georgian sitting room
on the first floor, or eat in the Mezzanine dining area.
The staff are
friendly and it is very rare to have to wait long for a drink. |
